Troon Corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of full-time Payroll Specialist. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes within the organization. The Payroll Specialist will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to both employees and management. The position requires a proactive approach to managing payroll inquiries and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. The ideal candidate will utilize payroll and time and attendance systems to answer questions, process payroll, review and update information, and resolve issues for employees and managers. In this role, the Payroll Specialist will ensure that garnishments are submitted to UKG Pro in a timely manner and will review all entered garnishments and calculations for accuracy. The specialist will also be responsible for setting up and processing various earnings and deductions requests and spreadsheets accurately and timely. Troubleshooting data-related issues in both UKG Pro and Workforce Dimensions will be a key responsibility, as well as generating manual checks in a timely and accurate manner. The Payroll Specialist will ensure that all payroll checks are distributed timely to the field and will research and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and management. The Payroll Specialist will fully participate in and ensure the success of various projects as assigned, demonstrating a strong focus on teamwork and initiatives while also managing an independent workload. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of payroll operations and ensuring that employees receive their compensation accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the payroll and time and attendance systems to answer questions, process payroll, review/update information and resolve issues for employees and managers.
  • Ensures garnishments are submitted to UKG Pro timely and reviews all entered garnishments and calculations for accuracy.
  • Sets up and processes various earnings and deductions requests/spreadsheets accurately and timely.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in high volume payroll.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
