About the position

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of payroll for a well-known organization, focusing on record keeping and compliance with state and federal payroll standards. This role requires managing time and attendance workflows, responding to compliance documentation requests, and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage time and attendance workflow to ensure all timesheets, time off requests, and other payroll documents are received timely and are accurate, complete, and in compliance with state and federal payroll standards.
• Follow up with supervisors and managers on any missing or incomplete documentation.
• Ensure final records are archived per standard operating procedures.
• Respond to all Federal, State, and other agency requests for compliance documentation (wage orders, garnishments, tax levies, etc.).

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience processing Ag/FLC payroll, preferably in the Agriculture industry.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding payroll.
• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
