Anchor QEA is seeking to hire a diligent and accurate Payroll Specialist to support our payroll function. In this role, you will assist with data capturing and administrative tasks in the payroll process, ensuring that all payroll-related tasks are performed timely. Our payroll team collaborates with professional HR practitioners, and your success in this role will directly contribute to maintaining a productive organization. As a Payroll Specialist, you will run the administrative and clerical tasks of the payroll function, ensuring that employees are paid correctly and on time. This position reports to the Payroll Manager and demands attention to detail, comfort with tight deadlines, and a commitment to complete accuracy. Your responsibilities will include auditing timesheets, processing payroll from end to end, posting payroll GL tasks, and helping staff with payroll queries. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree and at least 2 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience in multi-state environments. Excellent attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, multitasking abilities, good research and analysis skills, and the ability to work under deadline pressure are essential. A helpful and supportive demeanor is also highly valued in our collaborative work environment.
