Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
• Assist with accounts receivables and payables management.
• Communicate effectively with local trade unions regarding pay rates and benefits programs.
• Support the controller with various accounting tasks and projects.
• Perform general administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in cost accounting (1 year preferred).
• Familiarity with local trade unions and their pay rates/benefits programs.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (1 year preferred).
• Experience in accounts payable (1 year preferred).
• General accounting experience (1 year preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Prior construction administration experience.
• Experience with accounting software.
