We are seeking a highly organized Payroll Specialist with a solid foundation in Accounts Payable and experience in the construction industry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll with precision and ensuring timely and accurate payment to our employees. You will also play a key role in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and supporting AP functions as needed. If you have a keen eye for detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially within the construction sector, this position is ideal for you. The Payroll Specialist will be tasked with processing weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, including deductions, taxes, and direct deposits. You will reconcile payroll discrepancies and maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring that all payroll-related tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Additionally, you will assist with Accounts Payable tasks, including invoice processing and payment reconciliations, and collaborate with HR for employee onboarding and offboarding related to payroll. Preparing payroll reports and ensuring timely submission will also be part of your responsibilities.
