The Payroll Supervisor at Surefox North America Inc. is responsible for overseeing the payroll process, managing the payroll team, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. This role requires a high level of integrity and professionalism, as the supervisor will interact with corporate leadership and manage vendor relationships. The position aims to enhance payroll service performance and improve payroll systems while maintaining confidentiality and accurate reporting.

  • Oversee payroll process for employees in the organization
  • Manage payroll staff and assign duties
  • Work directly with departments and programs to achieve organization goals as required
  • Ensure payroll team responds to payroll queries from employees in a timely manner including final payments
  • Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense
  • Assist in payroll and timesheet audit activities and other duties as required
  • Ensure records and processes comply with company and legal regulations
  • Collaborate with HR Department on personnel related changes, assist and coordinate workflow and procedures between HR and Payroll
  • Review and verify payroll data in a timely manner, calculate overtime and other pay premiums, and enter payroll data
  • Collaborate with human resources and accounting staff
  • Oversee maintenance of payroll records and files including but not limited to sick time and paid time off
  • Oversee and review payroll payments and account reconciliations
  • Develop and implement payroll practices, policies, and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
  • Must be eligible for employment within the United States
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations
  • 5-7 years in an equivalent role
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy including G Suite applications
  • Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Workday timekeeping systems or software to pull payroll reports and data
  • 10+ years proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in business administration, accounting, or finance
  • 2+ years experience in Workday or other equivalent payroll software
