About the position

The Payroll Support Specialist at CoAdvantage is responsible for performing essential functions related to payroll and employee services. This role involves data maintenance, processing out-of-state payroll, verifying employment, managing unemployment claims, and training on various CoAd products and services. The specialist will work collaboratively within the employee service center team to ensure efficient operations and provide excellent customer service to clients and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the processing of the core duties related to payroll and employee services.
  • Cross trains in each of the core duties to ensure collaborative efforts within the team.
  • Acts as the back-up to delegated individuals of the core duties when necessary.
  • Provides feedback to procedures to improve efficiency of the Employee Service Center (ESC) team.
  • Monitors the team HelpDesk queue and manages incoming requests.
  • Creates HelpDesk tickets for communication and training opportunities.
  • Responsible for quality checking (QCing) of ESC entries.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must have experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
