About the position

The Payroll Support Specialist role is designed for skilled payroll consultants to assist internal employees with payroll processing and system inquiries. This position involves direct communication with various levels of staff to resolve payroll-related questions and issues, ensuring smooth payroll operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal employees regarding payroll processing, payroll questions, and payroll systems.
• Provide assistance via call and email to directors, managers, and general employees regarding payroll inquiries.
• Track payroll issues and questions using spreadsheets.
• Research and provide information about payroll, timekeeping, benefits, etc.
• Identify proper departments to forward inquiries as needed.
• Assist with general payroll functions such as processing, resolutions, and verifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
• 2 years of payroll experience (Preferred)
• 2 years of experience with Workday or ADP (Preferred)
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel (Preferred)
