Responsibilities

• Process payroll tax returns for multiple states and companies.
• Serve as the primary liaison for resolving payroll tax notices with appropriate agencies.
• Initiate payroll tax payments and filings by due dates.
• Research and respond to payroll tax notices.
• Maintain accurate and balanced trust accounts for tax funds.
• Monitor payroll tax adjustments and new client tax liabilities.
• Assist with non-tax projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a similar field.
• Entry-level experience in accounting, payroll, or tax.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new technology easily.
• Desire to learn and grow in payroll, HR, and HCM skills.
