About The Position

The PBX Operator/Reservationist plays a crucial role in the hotel by managing incoming and outgoing communications with guests. This position requires a courteous and professional demeanor while handling room reservations, understanding rate strategies, and identifying upsell opportunities. The operator is also responsible for executing guest requests and coordinating with other departments such as housekeeping and the front desk, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of PBX system and guest relations preferred.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing communications courteously.
• Handle calls from guests for room reservations, understanding rate strategy and reservation policies.
• Record bookings thoroughly and identify upsell opportunities.
• Receive and execute guest requests, communicating with other departments as necessary.
• Assist at the Front Desk when needed.
