The PC Analyst role at CSI Leasing, Inc. involves providing essential technical support to employees using Windows 11 computers. This position is part of the PC Support Help Desk team, focusing on troubleshooting software and hardware issues, responding to support requests, and ensuring employees have the necessary technology to succeed. The role also includes training employees, maintaining positive relationships, and participating in special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for employees using Windows 11 computers, including troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Respond to employee support requests in a timely and efficient manner via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Diagnose computer hardware problems and initiate appropriate solutions, such as replacement, repair, or vendor service requests.
  • Provide training for employees on various technical topics, both in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees by demonstrating excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Research and test new products and software solutions to evaluate their suitability for the company's needs.
  • Procure necessary equipment, supplies, and software, adhering to company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Receive, organize, and distribute incoming equipment, which may involve lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Participate in and contribute to special projects as assigned by management.
  • Occasional travel to other states or countries may be required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Courses in networking, networking security, or system administration are highly beneficial.
  • Experience or coursework in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Understanding of encryption protocols, such as IPSec, SSL/TLS, and network security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware components, including motherboards, processors, and memory, and their respective functions.
  • Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to troubleshoot common user issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex computer issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to effectively understand and address user needs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a professional environment.
