About the position

We are seeking a skilled PC Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. This short-term contract role involves maintaining and repairing computer systems and networks, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on PCs and related equipment.
• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Provide technical support across the company.
• Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
• Test new technology and give feedback to the IT team.
• Set up profiles and troubleshoot issues with Active Directory.
• Perform cable installation and management tasks.
• Work with Linux technologies and Apple devices.
• Handle backup technologies and database management.

Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Computer Hardware
• Proficiency in Database management and operations
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies
• Experience with EO/IR systems
• Ability to work with Linux Technologies
• Experience in AB Testing
• Proficiency in Active Directory management
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining Apple Devices
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies
• Skill in Cable Installation is necessary.
