About the position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) to join our compassionate team in Windham, NH. As a PCA or LNA, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort and safety in a home environment. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance work with personal commitments while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. In this role, you will assist clients with one-on-one personal care and home management as outlined in their individualized care plans. Your responsibilities will include facilitating activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, leisure activities, and socialization. You will also help seniors with shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and providing companionship. Your compassionate and empathetic approach will be essential in ensuring that our clients feel valued and cared for in their own homes. At Guardian Angel Senior Services, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients. You will be expected to communicate any changes in the client's condition or progress through daily notes, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. We are looking for individuals who are not only skilled but also possess a warm and accepting attitude towards our clients, making them feel comfortable and supported in their daily lives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with 1 on 1 personal care and home management as instructed by and documented on the written plan of care.
  • Facilitate activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal-care and hygiene, leisure activities, and socialization.
  • Help local seniors at home with shopping and/or light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and companionship.
  • Ensure client safety at all times.

Requirements

  • A compassionate, warm, and accepting attitude toward people.
  • Ability to respect confidentiality of patients and families.
  • Excellent communication skills to report program participant's progress, mental status, and any changes in daily notes.
  • Compassionate, caring, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
