About the position
The PCA (Personal Care Aide) position at Allay Home Care involves providing essential personal care and assistance to clients in their homes. The role is crucial for ensuring clients' daily living needs are met, promoting their well-being and comfort. This position is available for both part-time and full-time schedules, with a specific focus on weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with their personal care needs in accordance with the care plan.
- Helping clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a safe and beneficial manner.
- Transporting clients to appointments or running errands as needed.
Requirements
- Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility (minimum 3 months).
- Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.
- Must pass all background and drug screenings with satisfactory results.
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to speak and write in languages other than English (Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Farsi, Amharic, etc.).
