Cheeri Home Inc is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our vibrant team in Fort Mill and Rock Hill, SC. As a PCA, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals, particularly those with autism, in their daily lives. This position is available for both full-time and part-time schedules, offering flexibility to accommodate your needs. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients with personal hygiene, mobility, meal planning and preparation, and medication reminders. You will also engage in housekeeping duties and run errands as needed. Responsibilities

  • Providing personal hygiene assistance to clients
  • Helping clients with mobility, both in-home and outside
  • Planning and preparing meals for clients
  • Running errands with clients as needed
  • Performing housekeeping duties
  • Reminding clients to take prescribed medication

Requirements

  • Passion for learning and growth
  • Comfortable working in a self-directed, one-on-one environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Own and use a smartphone
