About the position

New Dawn Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our assisted living team. This role involves providing essential care and support to our aging population, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The position is available for both day and night shifts, with a requirement to work every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents in an assisted living environment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure residents' rights are respected.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in residents' living areas.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility as needed.
• Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Ability to administer medication
• Understanding of residents' rights
• Basic cleaning skills
