About the position

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential daily living support to individuals in need. Additionally, you will help with meal preparation and household chores, ensuring that the living environment is safe and comfortable. Escorting clients to appointments and social outings is another important aspect of this role, as it helps them stay connected to their community and maintain an active lifestyle. Monitoring and reporting changes in a client's health or behavior is a critical responsibility, as it allows for timely interventions and adjustments to care plans. The PCA will be part of a dedicated team of caregivers, working collaboratively to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Certified Home Health Aide
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • RN License (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred
  • Familiarity with geriatric care is a plus
  • Experience in hospital settings like Level II Trauma Centers, PICU, OR, Emergency Medicine, Inpatient, or Outpatient care is advantageous
  • Knowledge of hospital medicine and working in a teaching hospital environment is beneficial
