About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Help patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements

• Experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or inpatient care is preferred
• Knowledge of geriatrics and pediatric care is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment such as Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patient care
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different healthcare settings
