About the position

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role at Companion Home Care is designed for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to improving the lives of clients with physical and mental challenges. The PCA will provide high-quality care, ensuring that all activities of daily living (ADLs) are met, while also fostering strong relationships with clients and their families. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care to clients.
  • Ensure all activities of daily living (ADL) requirements are met on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Utilize the comprehensive EVV system for efficient service delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with personal care services or community alternative programs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in home care (2 years preferred).
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Spanish language proficiency (preferred).
