You will also provide companionship and emotional support, which is vital for the mental health and happiness of our clients. Additionally, you will help with meal preparation and household chores, ensuring that clients live in a clean and safe environment. Escorting clients to appointments and social outings is another important aspect of this role, as it helps them stay connected to their community and maintain an active lifestyle. Monitoring and reporting changes in a client's health or behavior is a critical responsibility, as it allows for timely interventions and adjustments to care plans. The PCA will be part of a dedicated team of caregivers, working collaboratively to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

Requirements

  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred
  • Familiarity with geriatric care is a plus
  • Experience in hospital settings like Level II Trauma Centers, PICU, OR, Emergency Medicine, Inpatient, or Outpatient care is advantageous
  • Knowledge of hospital medicine and working in a teaching hospital environment is beneficial
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • RN License (Preferred)
