As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will play a vital role in improving the lives of individuals who require assistance with daily activities due to age, illness, disability, or injury. You will work closely with clients in their homes or residential facilities, providing personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs. Your compassionate nature, strong interpersonal skills, and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for others will be key to succeeding in this role. In this position, you will assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. You will provide support with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort. Additionally, you will assist with medication reminders and monitoring, meal preparation and feeding, and perform light housekeeping duties such as tidying up living spaces, laundry, and light cleaning. Providing companionship and engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities will also be part of your responsibilities. You will accompany clients to medical appointments, community outings, and social events, while observing and reporting any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel. Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided and client interactions is essential to this role.
