Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in caregiving, preferably 1 year.
• Knowledge of dementia care is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance are preferred.
• CNA certification is recommended but not required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with senior care.
• Ability to work in varying home conditions (e.g., clients with pets, clients that smoke).
