About the position

Atlantic Home Staffing is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential home care services to clients in the Bladen County area. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities. This position is part-time, requiring reliable individuals who can commit to working during the day on specified weekdays. The PCA will be responsible for providing support in various capacities, including medication reminders, light meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing, and dressing. The hours of work will vary from 2 to 5 hours a day, specifically on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, all during daytime hours. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with medication reminders
  • Prepare light meals for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping duties

  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR Certification (can be obtained online)
  • 1 year of experience in senior care
  • 1 year of experience in home care
  • Reliable transportation to commute to client locations
  • Valid ID and Social Security card
