Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care such as helping clients eat meals and maintain hygiene.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing and grooming.
  • Observe clients and report any changes in their condition to nursing staff.
  • Encourage and assist clients in physical and/or occupational rehabilitation programs.
  • Complete housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Document care provided and adhere to the care plan.
  • Participate in continuous training and evaluation processes.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, including active listening and clear speaking.

Requirements

  • CNA certification is required.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is required.
  • Satisfactory background check is necessary.
  • Completion of a competency test for PCA is required.
  • Ability to work with a specific population of clients, including the elderly and those with special needs.
