We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities in a group home environment and day program. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include assisting individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will also be responsible for administering medications according to prescribed schedules and documenting medication administration. Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals is crucial in this role. Additionally, you will provide companionship and emotional support to individuals, assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary, and support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities. Helping individuals develop and maintain independent living skills is a key aspect of this position, as well as maintaining accurate and detailed records of care provided.
