About the position
As a Hemodialysis Technician at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your primary responsibilities will include performing hemodialysis procedures, managing supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the dialysis unit. This role is essential in delivering high-quality care to patients with renal disease, contributing to a 5-star rated renal program recognized for excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN.
- Perform hemodialysis procedures.
- Order and stock supplies for the dialysis unit.
- Disinfect and clean the RO system, jugs, and machines.
- Perform environmental safety checks of the unit.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of dialysis experience.
- Certification as mandated by CMS as a Dialysis Technician.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
