About The Position

The PDC Staff Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Administrative Director and Chief Financial Officer, as well as other staff members. This role requires a high level of organization, communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The assistant will maintain a pleasant working atmosphere and ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or higher
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Typing speed of 40+ WPM
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work flexible schedules

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Administrative Director, Chief Financial Officer, and staff
  • Interact professionally with executives and staff of all PDC businesses and related entities
  • Answer the front desk phone and direct calls appropriately
  • Order and pick-up meals for business meetings
  • Schedule PDC Staff Conference Rooms usage
  • Maintain PDC Staff Conference Rooms with supplies and monitor inventory
  • Assist in coordinating catering for meetings and events
  • Process transactional entries and bank deposits for PDC businesses
  • Draft correspondence with minimal instruction
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned by Administrative Director or Chief Financial Officer
