About the position

The PDU Product Line Manager at Eaton's Electrical division is responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to enhance market share and revenue within the electrical industry. This role involves market research, product development, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a 5-year strategic plan and measure execution
  • Increase revenues, market share, and margins
  • Develop new business opportunities for private-label and acquisitions
  • Participate in due diligence and integration activities
  • Perform primary and secondary market research to identify new vertical markets
  • Investigate and track economic conditions affecting IT and electrical industries
  • Research market needs and trends through various methods
  • Develop and own 3-year product roadmaps
  • Identify large strategic opportunities and collaborate with the sales team
  • Create a rolling 1-year tactical plan for new products and measure execution
  • Determine annual profit plan and drive sales and marketing initiatives
  • Create and maintain communication and tracking mechanisms with the sales team
  • Identify and participate in tradeshows and conferences
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop sales tools and marketing collateral
  • Support Global Engineering and Manufacturing teams
  • Lead mid- and long-term forecasts in the SIOP process
  • Manage the new product development process for complete product launches

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing
  • 10+ years experience in the electrical industry as a Product Manager or in a Marketing position
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Candidates must live within 50 miles of Woodridge, IL or Raleigh, NC
