About the position

The Physician Enterprise Instructional Systems Designer Developer at AdventHealth is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting learning programs and tools that enhance the adoption of technologies within the Physician Enterprise and AdventHealth Medical Groups. This role involves creating interactive eLearning courses, video production, and instructor-led training, ensuring that training content is effective and continuously refined to improve employee skills and performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs.
• Design and develop interactive learning experiences using various course authoring tools.
• Utilize evidence-based principles and instructional strategies in the design process.
• Upload and test courses in the AdventHealth Saba-based Learning Management System (LMS).
• Develop supportive training materials such as instructional videos and user manuals.
• Maintain communication with SMEs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for training tools.
• Produce and edit videos for training and marketing purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in learning systems software or technology-based learning development.
• Experience with SCORM conformant instructional objects.
• 1 year of experience using Storyline and Rise (Articulate360 products).
• Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technology, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare education.
• Experience in healthcare system instructional technology.
• LMS experience, preferably in a SABA LMS environment.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in SmartSheet.
