About the position

Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking a qualified PE Teacher/Athletic Director who is passionate about supporting the mission of Catholic Education. This full-time position involves teaching physical education and managing athletic programs, ensuring effective communication and coordination with other Athletic Directors.

Responsibilities

• Teach physical education classes and create engaging unit plans.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Provide cooperative learning opportunities that connect to real-world applications.
• Coordinate with the LPCC and other Athletic Directors to schedule games.
• Manage all communication regarding athletics, including record keeping and management of coaches and equipment.
• Be onsite for all home games and attend away games as necessary.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Physical Education or have the necessary education and experience to acquire certification upon employment.
• Experience in teaching physical education.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
