About the position
Challenger School is looking for an enthusiastic P.E. Teacher to join their Farmington campus. The role focuses on teaching students the importance of physical health and creating healthy habits from an early age. The teacher will be responsible for leading P.E. classes for students in grades 1 through 8, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for physical activity.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly learn Challenger's P.E. curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy
- Maintain a safe and productive class environment
- Prepare creative P.E. exercises and fitness activities for 1st through 8th grade students
- Lead daily P.E. classes both inside the gym and out on the field
- Work patiently with students and coworkers
Requirements
- Two years of college or equivalent experience in fitness, exercise training, health or coaching
- Ability to pass a background check
- Completion of pre-employment assessments
