About the position

The Pediatric Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quotas and providing clinical support to pediatric accounts, including healthcare professionals such as endocrinologists and certified diabetes educators. This role involves profiling, targeting, needs analysis, and closing sales with key diabetes institutions, hospitals, and private practices. The position requires building and maintaining relationships with decision-makers to promote Insulet Corporation's product line and ensure brand loyalty within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives and ensure profitability within defined sales and marketing practices.
  • Develop, manage, and grow healthcare professional recommendations to increase sales and market share.
  • Expand business and brand loyalty within assigned accounts, including private practices and large diabetes clinics.
  • Raise awareness and increase demand for Insulet Corporation products among customers in the territory.
  • Correlate professional contacts with operational, quality, or customer service teams as needed.
  • Maintain superior relationships with key diabetes decision-makers and influencers.
  • Implement customer loyalty initiatives effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in discussing and demonstrating Insulet Corporation products and related diabetes products.
  • Conduct customer training programs and maintain a high profile with professional diabetes organizations.
  • Manage sales promotions and execute field sales activities professionally and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' sales/clinical selling experience with a successful track record.
  • Diabetes industry experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales and clinical experience in medical devices or diabetes specialty preferred.
  • Demonstrated relationships with endocrinologists preferred.
  • Prior industry, clinical, and diabetes training experience preferred.
