About the position
The Pediatric Behavior Technician role at Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy involves working directly with children diagnosed with autism to help them achieve their developmental goals. Technicians will implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, engaging in one-on-one interactions with children. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and opportunities for professional growth, including support for obtaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Engage in one-on-one interactions with children to achieve developmental goals.
- Collect data on children's progress and behavior.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Assist in creating a supportive and positive environment for children.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- Valid RBT Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in data collection.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Background in psychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or social work.
