About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our premier dental practice in Crystal Lake, IL. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care to children, ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, and performing various clinical tasks such as taking x-rays and educating patients about their treatment plans.

Requirements

• Previous dental chairside assisting is preferred
• Loves working with children
• Excellent customer service skills with an outgoing, people-friendly personality
• Desire to learn new skills and expand your potential

Nice To Haves

• Nitrous Oxide Certification (Preferred)
• Coronal Polish Certificate (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Help Dentists prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in place
• Help keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand Dentists the necessary tools at the appropriate time
• Patient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plans
