About the position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team, focusing on providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, particularly children. This role offers the opportunity to positively impact the oral health and overall well-being of our patients through various dental procedures and preventive care.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience as a Dentist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
