About the position

The Pediatric Echo Technologist at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is responsible for performing various echocardiographic procedures, including 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, Stress Echocardiograms, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms for pediatric patients. This role emphasizes creating positive patient interactions and requires a commitment to the well-being of others.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, Stress Echocardiograms, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms.
• Process all orders and reports for the pediatric patient population.

Requirements

• Registered or eligible for credentialing as an Echocardiographer (must obtain registration within 9 months of employment).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required.
• Associate degree in sonography specializing in cardiology preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in performing all modes of Echocardiography required.
