About the position

The Pediatric Emergency Nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is responsible for applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education for patients and families. Responsibilities

  • Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery while anticipating patient care needs.
  • Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
  • Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions.
  • Employs strategies to promote health and maintain a safe environment.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program: Nursing (Required)
  • LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others
  • Relevant Work Experience: 1 year
