About the position
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join its practice at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida. This role involves providing specialized care in the area's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and working alongside a team of Pediatric Intensivists and Hospitalists. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a full range of pediatric services and subspecialty support.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and pediatric floor.
- Collaborate with a team of Pediatric Intensivists and Hospitalists.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and various ventilation methods for pediatric patients.
- Support pediatric emergency services and rehabilitation services.
- Engage with on-site pediatric subspecialty support including surgery, cardiology, and more.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician
- Experience in a pediatric hospital setting is preferred.
