About the position

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pediatric Intensivist to join their healthcare team at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, UT. This role involves providing care to pediatric patients in a combined 8-bed pediatric floor and 4-bed PICU, with responsibilities including outpatient sedations and collaboration with pediatric subspecialty providers. The position offers a supportive environment with a focus on comprehensive pediatric programs and a collegial network of primary care pediatric providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to pediatric patients in an 8-bed pediatric floor and 4-bed PICU.
• Perform outpatient sedations, primarily for MRIs, averaging 1-2 per week.
• Participate in 24/7 split coverage of both units with morning rounding and call from home after hours.
• Collaborate with a network of pediatric subspecialty providers including cardiology, gastroenterology, and surgery.
• Support a large network of primary care pediatric providers.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care
