About the position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services provides one-on-one nursing care in a home environment, focusing on the unique needs of pediatric clients. This role emphasizes autonomy and the establishment of deep, meaningful relationships with clients and their families, supported by a dedicated clinical team. The LPN is responsible for delivering specialized care while enjoying a flexible schedule and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one nursing care in a home environment
- Taking direction from the clinical team and being overseen by a registered nurse
- Following the plan of care
- Adhering to all clinical and office policies
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania LPN License or Multistate License - PPD or Chest X-Ray
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
- Valid driver's license
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train
