About the position

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join its Pediatric Enterprise at Mount Sinai Hospital. This role involves active clinical practice, education of residents and fellows, and participation in clinical and/or basic science research. The position is aimed at fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, emphasizing the importance of communication skills and a commitment to teaching and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class Pediatric Orthopedic care as part of an academic medical center and health system
• Collaborate with Pediatric practice colleagues as an integral part of a health system and growing pediatric enterprise
• Facilitate resident, medical student and fellow education in Orthopedic Surgery and Pediatrics
• Interact on a professional level with other staff members and physicians
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal and state guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
