About the position
As a Pediatric Private Duty Nurse at Ageless Living Home Health, you will provide exceptional one-on-one patient care in the homes of infants, children, and adolescents. This role is designed to help you succeed in delivering quality healthcare while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for patient assessments, medication administration, and effective communication with the healthcare team, all while promoting health and educating family members.
Responsibilities
- Provide Private Duty Nursing in the homes of patients
- Deliver quality healthcare in adherence with laws, regulations, and policies
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
- Communicate with other team nurses and Clinical Management
- Follow shift schedule reliably
- Accurately document work and chart patient care
- Promote health and provide teaching and training to family members
Requirements
- Must have a valid RN or LVN/LPN license in good standing to practice in Texas
- Current CPR certification
- Willingness to provide in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience with trach care, G-Tube, and ventilators is a plus
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in nursing is preferred, but new nurse grads are welcome
