About the position
As a Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN) at Ageless Living Home Health, you will provide exceptional one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes. This role is designed to support the health and well-being of infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations while promoting health education and family training.
Responsibilities
- Provide Private Duty Nursing in the homes of patients
- Deliver quality healthcare in accordance with laws, regulations, and policies
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
- Communicate effectively with other team nurses and Clinical Management
- Follow shift schedules reliably
- Accurately document work and chart patient care
- Promote health and provide teaching and training to family members
Requirements
- Valid RN License to practice in the state of Texas
- Current CPR certification
- Willingness to provide in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience with trach care, G-Tube, and ventilators is a plus
