About the position

The Pediatric Psychotherapist will work part-time in a 100% virtual setting, providing collaborative care to pediatric patients under 21 years old with mild to moderate behavioral health concerns. This role involves working closely with psychiatric consultants and pediatricians to deliver brief interventions and medication management, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The position is part of the Behavioral Health Integration program aimed at increasing access to behavioral health services for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual Collaborative Care to pediatric patients under 21 years old.
  • Collaborate with psychiatric consultants and pediatricians to deliver brief interventions.
  • Conduct individual, conjoint, group, and family psychotherapy as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention services when necessary.
  • Ensure quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.

Requirements

  • Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one year supervised post-masters experience; OR Master's degree in Social Work with two years post-Master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting.
  • Licensed Psychologist; OR Limited Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed Master's in Social Work.
