About The Position

Valley Children's Healthcare is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Pulmonologists with additional fellowship training in Sleep Medicine to join our expanding team in Madera, California. Recognized as one of the nation's Best Children's Hospitals in seven specialties by U.S. News & World Report for 2022-2023, and honored by Becker's Healthcare as one of the '150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare' in 2022, we are one of the largest pediatric healthcare networks in the nation. Our main campus in Madera is a state-of-the-art, free-standing children's hospital located on a picturesque 50-acre campus overlooking the San Joaquin River and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The Pediatric Pulmonology Practice at Valley Children's offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a team of seven pediatric pulmonologists who specialize in the diagnosis and management of complex respiratory conditions and disorders affecting infants, children, and young adults. This practice is the largest of its kind in the Central Valley and is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and psychologists. Together, we focus on providing comprehensive and compassionate care, conducting educational events on asthma and cystic fibrosis, and assisting families with individualized education plans and resources to track their child's progress. In addition to clinical responsibilities, our team is actively involved in ongoing research for pulmonary disorders, including cystic fibrosis and asthma, providing patients with opportunities to participate in valuable clinical trials and studies. Valley Children's Hospital is a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-accredited center, affiliated with the CFF Core Center at Stanford Medical Center, and recognized by the California Children's Services program for our cystic fibrosis and home ventilator programs. Living in the Central Valley offers a unique lifestyle with access to three National Parks—Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia—right in your backyard. The area is also within a short drive to the stunning Pacific coast, the Napa and Sonoma wine regions, and major metropolitan areas like San Francisco, San Jose, and Los Angeles. Whether you enjoy snow, sun, or sand, the diverse geography provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing, along with local wineries, farm stands, festivals, and gourmet cuisine. Our communities are warm and welcoming, offering affordable housing, excellent schools, and a strong financial compensation package that includes relocation assistance and a signing bonus.
