About the position

The Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Program offers advanced training in Pediatric Radiology, enabling fellows to independently practice diagnostic imaging for pediatric patients from fetal stages through 18 years of age. The fellowship encompasses training in various imaging modalities and exposure to a wide range of pediatric diagnoses, including those managed in acute care settings. The program emphasizes a commitment to diversity and aims to eliminate health disparities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervised interpretation of fundamental and complex diagnostic imaging for children in all modalities.
  • Provision of diagnostic imaging reports, including review of patient charts and relevant information.
  • Participation in routine communications and consultations with referring providers.
  • Regular participation in pediatric multidisciplinary conferences.
  • Guidance of imaging technologists during image acquisition.
  • Preparation for fluoroscopic and percutaneous procedures, including obtaining patient/family consent.
  • Supervising and teaching junior learners such as radiology residents and medical students.

Requirements

  • Completion of a medical degree (MD or equivalent).
  • Completion of a residency in Radiology or equivalent training.

  • Research experience in clinical settings.
