About the position

PrimaryOne Health is currently seeking a Pediatrician for our Circleville health center. The organization is dedicated to improving quality of life through providing access to the highest possible quality healthcare. The Pediatrician will provide quality care to all patients within the scope of specialty, including consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and education in accordance with the guidelines and principles of practice. The role also involves participating in quality improvement and health disparity reduction projects, providing leadership and guidance to mid-level providers and staff, and maintaining compliance with peer review and quality improvement programs. Occasional travel may be required, and other duties or special projects may be assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality care to all patients within the scope of specialty to include consultation, diagnosis, treatment and education in accordance with the guidelines and principles of practice.
  • Participates in quality improvement, prevention activities in the community and health disparity reduction projects.
  • Provides leadership, guidance and direction to mid-level providers, nurses, MAs and staff.
  • Precepts and has standard care agreements with PrimaryOne Health nurse practitioners.
  • Maintains compliance with peer review and QI program and attends all relevant PrimaryOne Health meetings.
  • Collaborates with those responsible for case management, social services, referrals, community prevention and other PrimaryOne Health managers.
  • May practice Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Must be board certified in appropriate specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics and Gynecology).
  • Must have a valid State of Ohio license to practice medicine.
  • Must have a DEA certificate.
