About the position

Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital is seeking board certified/eligible adolescent medicine physicians to join their division as clinician educator faculty members. This role focuses on educating the next generation of leaders in Adolescent Medicine while providing comprehensive care to adolescents and young adults. The position emphasizes both clinical practice and teaching within a large interdisciplinary team, contributing to the LEAH training grant aimed at reducing health disparities in this demographic.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient care and consultative care of adolescent medicine patients at Texas Children's Hospital.
  • Teach fellows, residents, and students in clinical and didactic settings.
  • Develop quality improvement and research projects.
  • Participate in professional development activities regarding medical education, leadership, quality and safety, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Pediatrics or Internal Medicine.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adolescent Medicine.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, research, leadership, and/or education.
