As a centralized and critical part of the departmental administrative and executive team, this position ensures effective prioritization, delegation, communication, and coordination of needs across divisions. You will provide excellent customer service and support to faculty, staff, and students, collaborating closely with department leadership to address HR-related needs. A hands-on approach to hiring, onboarding, and employment processes is required, along with efficiently managing data entry, documentation, and participating in staff HR functions. Success in this role requires being accessible to department staff and leaders, serving as a proactive change agent driving continuous improvement, and demonstrating strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
