About the position

Join our team in helping students and new graduates develop employability capital through access to people, opportunities, and resources - engaging them in experiences that help build career confidence and curiosity. The Peer Leader Program Manager manages all aspects of the PL Program from recruitment and training to supervision and project management. This position also does some career coaching and supports departmental events and projects. Peer-to-peer mentorship is a cornerstone of career support at UVM - helping students get connected, gain experience, and build their networks. The Peer Leader (PL) Program engages 10-15 student staff as interns making our space more approachable and more effective. In addition to hosting drop-ins, reviewing resumes, supporting events, and adding a student-voice to our marketing, Peers engage in meaningful project work aligned with their competency development goals.
